My heart is filled with joy as I meditate on the word of God and see all that He has done! Psalm 118:17 I will not die, but live, and tell of the works of the Lord.

  5. Michelle Paul says:

I am caught up. Very rare for me. But so thankful for the Grace day because there are so many pieces of this I want to soak in and feel like even going through one book in five weeks is too fast. Thankful for this community and study.

Happy Saturday sweet She’s! It’s a great week of rest, though sleep was the greatest, I made myself stay in bed. Hang out with my daughter every day! Coffee, coffee, coffee. During the day of course! Otherwise my sleep would of been worse! I laid in bed this morning thanking God for this Fall break and though I didn’t go anywhere, it was so nice not to be rushed! I set a goal to to run every day, which I did and spend time with friends whom I don’t get to see often and that was such a blessing! The other thing I was thinking about this morning are HIS blessings to provide, a budget helps of course, But I know it’s Jehovah Jireh my provider who MADE SURE, I would be fine and I am! Okay I’m rambling, but last night I went to Evening Market which is ONLY about a mile away, so I walked by myself (my son and daughter have my location and made sure I took my pepper spray). I had such a GREAT time walking around and even ran into one of my close friends! It was a scene of two young children running towards each other with such joy! God is good!

This verse came up in a devotional this morning and it brought such peace.

“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54‬:‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Jesus would not have sat down at the right hand of the Father if His saving work had not been completed. His peace, His shalom is complete. May we all rest in it today!

    Praying for all!

Sisters, I was made aware of a young lady this morning who is in a really bad place not only spiritually, but mentally as well. Satan has his hooks in her so deep, to the point that her faith is now nonexistent, or at least undetectable, even by her. Praying she is willing to get the help needed and that the demons will flee and be banished out of her life forever.
Thank you, sisters, for your faithful prayers.

Praying this young lady’s former faith will rise up within her and fight these demonic battles with victory! Last eeek our pastor preached on the healing of the demon possessed man in Matthew 8. God bless you, sister, for standing in the gap for her! ❤

    4. Cee Gee says:

Praying these lyrics on behalf of this young lady!
Break Every Chain by Jesus Culture
There is power in the name of Jesus
There is power in the name of Jesus
There is power in the name of Jesus
      Break every chain
      Break every chain
Break every chain (there is power) …
      There’s an army rising up
      There’s an army rising up
      There’s an army rising up
      To break every chain
      To break every chain
      Break every chain

I just love how this week has highlighted His glory. Agreeing with SEARCHING about the wonderful and insightful comments this week! ❤

This Scripture is one of my favorites! Full verse in NLT-

3 The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.
    .
Love, hugs, and prayers! ❤ Busy weekend here; hope yours is great!

  13. Jane K says:

This hymn came to mind, it’s one of my favorites.
    Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free.

    Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow
    strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.

    1. Cee Gee says:

Long-time favorite of mine, too, Jane! Thank you! ❤

    Good Morning She’s!
My mind is still on the Woman at the Well, because it’s such a powerful story. It is my story and many of you have been there as well. Searching for something to fill us, skipping from thing to thing. It was indeed men for me. And not always to fill emptiness in me, but to feed into my pride. We had this lesson on the Samaritan woman here at SRT not to long ago and it was a Wednesday which was a Jail Ministry day. I had a lesson planned, but it was like God told me they needed to hear it. So when I got there, instead of passing out the day’s lesson, I gave them a blank piece of paper. We then went to the account in the Bible of Jesus passing through purposely for a divine encounter to meet someone in their emptiness. Their dessert, or valley. Their pit. Their addiction. It is a powerful moment when we realize that only Jesus can give us water to quench our thirst. To give us the very ONE that will always be there and never leave us. Who gives us love, understanding, and value! I will never forget hitting my knees and realizing that I could not do it in my own strength, and I think that’s why God has aligned my life going to talk to the girls in jail every week. Because I was there, so long ago, and I found the living water.
But there are so many people today searching for something, anything. Everything and nothing. It is truly a lost generation, with anxiety and depression. We need to actively be asking Jesus how to use us! How we can have divine encounters to tell people that we know the one who fills our cup. That gives us our daily manna. The One that gives peace and direction, guiding us on the straight path. That we go to in prayer in the hard. That is worthy of our honor and praise. The ONE that was sent to SAVE and give us life eternally and saves us from hell.
Indeed, we must come and see, and go and tell like the Samaritan woman. Why would we hide and keep the light, it is meant to share with joy!

I have my small group this morning and the topic is “Do Something!” Mathew West’s song- that if there is so much hurt in the world- Why doesn’t God Do Something!!?? And Mathew answers it with God did, he made me! It’s up to us to DO Something! Maybe you have heard the song by the title!? It goes so well with the above! Going to the hurting, lost, hungry, poor, and spiritually lost!

    Have a great Wkd!

Yesterday’s lesson also reminded me that the Samaritan woman was the first person to whom Jesus revealed himself as Messiah, and she, a Gentile, became the first evangelist. The second person in the chapter was a royal official, so probably also a Gentile. Jesus was always coming for ALL of us, not just the Jews, and he did so in unexpected ways.

      1. Rhonda J. says:

        Yes! Amen!

    7. Sallie Kate Goff says:
