BY She Reads Truth
Seeing the depth of our sin, a painful sight though it is, brings freedom when it compels us to confession and repentance.
Take this day as an opportunity to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord. Pray this Scripture for a specific person in your life and for yourself:
Therefore repent and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped out, that seasons of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord
-Acts 3:19

When I was confronted with the depth of my sin – it was at first overwhelming … but as I brought it to Christ and confessed and repented I felt His love and forgiveness. It brought such a depth of love, thankfulness and gratitude that is inexplicable.

“Repent and turn back”
This is a daily need for me as I repeatedly think of my own failures, which do NOT define my life. I am very blessed. I pray for communication and kindness. If I lack these things , maybe that’s why I seek them.
