Praying for you @SARAH D – it is so hard to see Gods reasoning during that waiting season. I know there is a special somebody out there for you and it’s going to bring so much joy and understanding when the time is right. There honestly is not a lot I found people can tell me during this season that makes it any better. It plain sucks and is hard. Just know so many people are in your same boat! I read a book called Women in Love which basically is a great way to start praying for your future husband before you even know who that might be. It really helped me set a better hope for my future. I’ve found myself angry with friends who have the things I’m praying for and it’s HARD to change that mindset. I have no good answer but I know you’ll get through it.

I’m thankful for God making a way through Christ for me to be reconciled to Him. Which should make it easier for me to forgive and show grace to others. I will not lie there are days where I struggle. So thankful for the Lord’s help in my weakness.

My heart hurts this morning thinking about my brother and our estranged relationship. Kelly (Neo) you are so prophetic. How did you know? ❤️ My brother and I were so close when we were children, and when we got married, and I moved away to Canada, we were on different paths of life. How crazy each choice shifts us apart, an inch at a time, and now miles and miles apart. Sometimes I wonder if we have anything in common, apart from our shared childhood. And that thought hurts me. Children reflect from their parents’ actions, and my mom’s rejection on me also indirectly encouraged him to grow cold. Love prospers when a fault is forgiven (Proverbs something 17:9?). May the Lord give us grace to forgive the many faults done unto us from our family, understanding that at some points we were also the cause many faults (perhaps unknowingly with good intentions) for others. It’s scary how the way to hell is paved with good intentions. What are the good intentions? Only God is good. Joining you in prayers for our she’s over life’s many troubles. Be blessed dear sisters. Rejoice and have hope in the Lord. He has overcome this world. ❤️

Hi SRT sisters! Thank you for all your prayers yesterday! My sore throat did get better as the day went on (praise the Lord for the supplements I’m taking), and I was able to run the 5K today! It went really well, I’m so glad I got to do it and finished :) Running has been an awesome metaphor and reminder for me to keep running the race set before us, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Sorry for sounding a bit down yesterday, but I appreciate so much all the prayers. I know that the Lord doesn’t always answer with a “yes”, but instead it could be a “not yet”, or “wait”. Praying I would have patience in the “not yet” and still keep running the race set before me.

@SEARCHING….I too, love what you said this morning: CHOOSING to move past an issue, praying the Lord will help me truly forgive….I love how God works as this is exactly what I needed to hear, but couldn’t put it into words. I feel safe here and safe enough to say this: I LOVE my mom! I love her very much! She also LOVES Jesus and she LOVES us, her kids and grandchildren. Last night we had a heated argument. Things were brought up that were hurtful on both our parts. I know I have a big part in it. I couldn’t get her to understand an issue that has been an issue for years and years even with my siblings. AT this point in her life as she is in her early 80’s I need to do JUST that what SEARCHING said today. Pray for me please.

Good late morning, sisters! I had to scoot right after I posted yesterday and didn’t get a chance to read through again until this morning. So many good comments yesterday and this morning; obvious God is moving in this group and I pray we heed the call to carry over to our personal and church relationships/opportunities/ministries all that God us revealing to us here!
I just had to share more from that section in 2 Corinthians 5:
18 Everything is from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.19 That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and he has committed the message of reconciliation to us.

The ball is now in our court! Praying we all walk and work in His strength to get the job done. As ADRIENNE said/alluded to:
JUST DO IT. But, do it for God’s glory, not our own.

Have a wonderful, restful grace day feeling the live and prayers of our sisters here! ❤
