Take this day to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

Praying!
Pray for my sister Grace as she started radiation for the next 4 weeks❤️
Continuing to pray for you, Rachel Haussler, and your sister. And the other requests brought forward today. Have a wonderful Sunday, SRT sisters. So thankful for this community.
This. “Rest and satisfy the soul.” Is such a beautiful message. In a world that is go go go. Jesus says rest. He knows what we need, better than we do,
Praying for you sisters and loved ones tonight
Lord you know Rachels sister. Lord your grace and mercy be upon her. Heal her completely lord. Give strength and discernment to Rachel and her family sustain her through this trial. You are the architect of our lives. May we be mailable to your will.
Amen
The Lord satisfies the thirsty soul who is parched like dry land. He gives food to the hungry. He gives strength to the weary (Isaiah 40:29). He is close to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let the weak say I am strong (Joel 3:10) because we have God, let us hold fast to the confidence that is Him. Unchangeable God. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers them out of them ALL. How great is our GOD!! Praying for the prayer requests. Have a great weekend everyone.
Katherine McCormick I am praying for you. I’ve been through many of those myself. God is with you. Brenda praying for your nephew. Febrile seizures can be scary but are often benign. I pray this is the case. Jennifer thanks for sharing this beautiful excerpt from the Psalms, I love the last line “by means of Your light we see light”. Still feeling the after effects of the advent study and noticing light in the scriptures :). Brooke P continuing to pray for you ! Traci Gendron it is good to see you here. Martha Hix I hope you are doing ok. Love you all ❤️
I love this verse it brings me peace.
☺️
Grace Day is the best! I love that I don’t need it to “catch up” and can better rest in His presence today. Have a blessed day, Sisters!
Praying for your sister Rachel- for peace and that she gets the help she needs. May she know God is right there with her.
Brenda, praying for your son, that his fever breaks and his seizures cease.
Oh CHURCHMOUSE, what a beautiful visual of God bending down to hear each of our prayers. Thank you for that. His tender mercies are new each day and I’m so thankful. Praying for all the requests. I tend to skip over grace day and I’m committed to looking back over each week of study on these grace days that are given to us. I have such a poor memory and I’m hoping that this commitment may help me.
@Rachel Haussler, praying right now. I’m so thankful she has you. I pray she gets the help she needs. You are not alone. A year ago we faced a similar situation with two close family members. It was hard BUT, today they are thriving. I hope this gives you HOPE!
Beautiful Grace day. Sitting in contemplation of the one who refreshes and satisfies the weariness of our soul.
Good morning Beautiful sisters! It’s a cold and foggy Saturday morning. But I love getting up and meeting with all of you. @KATHERINE, I’m praying for you right now.
Hi sisters! I’m back again today. Yesterday I asked for prayer for my sister as she was suffering deeply. She is with me now today & it is worse than we knew. Your prayers were such a comfort for me to read through today. I’m asking again if you could, please pray for her and my family as we move forward and see how we can help heal her mind, body & spirit. Thank you so much for your prayers yesterday. Praying peace and calm today for all of you on this beautiful Grace day.
I decided to read today’s verse in my Bible, which is the New Living Translation, and this is what it has “For I have given rest to the weary and joy to the sorrowing.” It just astounds me how different translations can interpret the same thing differently.
Sisters be blessed and let everyone know you have Christ in your heart.
Grace day. Lord, your faithful love reaches to heaven,
your faithfulness to the clouds.
Your righteousness is like the highest mountains,
your judgments like the deepest sea.
Lord, you preserve people and animals.
How priceless your faithful love is, God!
People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
They are filled from the abundance of your house.
You let them drink from your refreshing stream. For the wellspring of life is with you.
By means of your light we see light. – Psalms 36:5-9

Happy Grace Day everyone! I hope this study is refreshing all of you. I know it is for me. Being in the Word everyday is definitely helping me get closer to the Lord and renewing my mind. I hope that you all have a fantastic weekend ❤️❤️❤️
I can relate. I have been stuck in a pit of the same feelings for years. I am clinging to Jesus as He rescues me and strengthens me.
Listening to a service on the radio this morning, and it’s so full of great tidbits. Talking about trials, rather “tests” that we go through, which in effect create a testimony. Or a “mess” before the message.
When people question why we have such hard things to go through- because Jesus is our grand Savior. He came to save us from our sin, through the cross, to save us from eternal death. Everything will be made new. Unfortunately, the truth most likely is that if we didn’t have hard things to catch us in our tracks, we wouldn’t ever need to hit our knees and pray. This has happened in my own life and many of yours. I don’t want or wish hard things to happen to anyone, but we know they are going to come. Will we hang on to God? We will look to Him for our comfort and peace? I hope I will. I love the song Peace Be Still by Lauren Daigle. Jesus will calm the waters- “peace be still.” He will strengthen me, my faith will grow, I will be strong.
I’m going in for a fertility procedure today. Will you pray for me? We did one yesterday but our numbers were low so they recommend another one this morning. It is not a comfortable sensation and I am trying to put my trust in God and not let fear seep into my body.
MARIA EASTERDAY, your last name brings me such joy! Glad you are having a shift into a more healthy relationship with our Jesus.
Praying for you this morning Tammy!
amen lord! Thank you for the time to just come before your feet and be fed by you alone.
Weak and thirsty girl here. Grateful to know the only true source of satisfaction. ❤️
Praying for the many requests. And as Paul prayed, “I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, would give you the Spirit, of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what is the wealth of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the mighty working of his strength” (Eph. 1:17-19)
Good morning ladies. I have been a SRT reader for years but I don’t often comment. I do read many of the comments and pray for the requests. I would like to ask if you could all spare some prayers for my nephew Ryker. He is 2 and has some significant health challenges. He has been having seizures due to some high fevers over the past few days and doesn’t seem to be getting any better. Prayers would be greatly appreciated.
I needed to see these words
Ahhhh Grace Day. I love these intentional days of resting in the Lord’s providence, pondering what I’ve read and gleaned from the Scripture and devotions, and praying for all the requests that were mentioned this past week. What a privilege to gather here each day and what an honor to pray for you all. I love the visual of God bending down to hear each whispered, or shouted, prayer. His care and concern are constant. His mercies are new every morning. He will walk with each of us, all the way home.
Amen
You are worthy!!! Jesus loves you.
I’m so thankful to God that He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. That as He has provided for me in the past, He will do so in my present day, and continue to do so in the days to come. I’m ever grateful.
Have a blessed weekend ladies
Reading this and also just today in general Christ has reminded me how he will truly replenish the soul. Some events took place this week that helped me to rekindle my friendship with Jesus once again. For the longest I felt condemned, unworthy and ashamed to come to him knowing that I was broken in my sin.
