Day 14

Grace Day

Numbers 24:17

BY She Reads Truth

Advent is a season to celebrate and contemplate. We rejoice that our Savior has come to us! We also seek unhurried moments of quiet to reflect on His wondrous light and the promise of His future return. Take time today to pause from the busyness of the season to catch up on your reading, make space for prayer, and rest in God’s presence.

I see him, but not now;
I perceive him, but not near.
A star will come from Jacob,
and a scepter will arise from Israel.
–Numbers 24:17

    Why is it so hard to make my heart quiet and pray? Thank you for this reminder. Several friends have received hard news this week….. only Jesus can give the Peace, salvation, solace that we all need.

    I live in Springfield, KY. We were lucky to not be affected by the tornadoes, but my heart is devastated for everyone who has lost something or in some cases, everything, and for the lives lost as well. I’ve been praying hard since I woke up Saturday morning and saw the damage.

    Kat, I also live in Bowling Green, KY!

    Please keep our community in your prayers. My house was hit but the damage was not as substantial as so many others in this community. So many businesses and homes lost. We needs prayers to rebuild and prayers for those with no where else to go and who have little resources.
