Do they allow medical exemptions? Most places do, but require weekly testing if you are in contact with other people.

Praying for all of you ladies this afternoon, and I am filled with hope and joy knowing that He will answer each need in His perfect will and timing. God loves each of us so much, all we must do is remain faithful to Him, and seek Him and love Him with all our might. Rest assured, He will do the rest. Have a blessed weekend, sisters! xx

Whitney Autumn may I suggest two very quick reads by Joyce Meyer, “Help Me I’m Depressed” and “Help Me I’m Stressed”. Both are less than 100 pages and both have some wonderful God-centered help.
Julia B. I know what it’s like to raise an AD/HD child who is defiant. I did this as a single mom. I raised two AD/HD boys who were three years a part, one of which was defiant. I will be praying for you. Check into the resources the other sisters have suggested. Most of all remember God, Christ and the Holy Spirit are all there by your side.
Sisters have a blessed and wonderful rest of your weekend.

JULIA B: You will find a wealth of helpful resources through HSLDA, which can also direct you to your state’s home education groups. *Be assured* that there are many people who are anxious to encourage you! I’ll be praying for your family.

I am praying for you Julia. I pray the Lord gives you peace in the midst of these challenging times, gives you direction, and gives you the knowledge that he is in control.

I’m praying for you Whitney. I pray the Lord would give you his supernatural peace and strength. I also pray he would bring a more constant support system into your life.

Yay! MARI V – It looks like you got your pleasant surprise yesterday but, I pray your recovery will continue to have diminishing challenges!!

  8. FOSTER MAMA says:

Let’s have some fun!! My word for today feels like it wants to be “surprise”; we all know that God provides but,…:

MAURA, my sweet! I am praying for (additional to your abundance of) wisdom for you. I pray that He will provide for you in a surprising, overflowing fountain of grace!!

KARRIE, I pray for all of you and your pain and that your daughters will find a peace and compassion for their dad that surprises both them and you!

VICTORIA E, if it’s OK, I’m praying for surprising, extra assurance of God’s hand on your family.

I pray that we will ALL have the surprise of FINALLY hearing from / about CHURCHMOUSE!

ERB, I am praying for you to rest today and then have a Sunday (tomorrow) with a surprising burst of energy, physical comfort and wellbeing in every way.

RHONDA J, I’m being a smidge less demanding re: the timing but, put in a request that in the next 2 weeks, your will meet someone (old/new) who unexpectedly (surprise!) talks to you about a great church they attend and how it has been a motivating experience in a variety of ways.

Lord, I’d love a good, happy surprise! Please!

WHITNEY AUTUMN, I pray that certain circumstances improve for you but, ALSO that you would find a surprising amount of deep joy and peace that surpasses all your understanding!!

JULIA BROWN: In my work with Childhood Cancer survivors 20 years ago, I met a Julia Brown so the name give me a special warm feeling inside. My dear, thank you SO much for bringing us into your family circle and given us the opportunity to pray with and for you! It sounds like you barely have enough wits left to think of solutions for all the balls yall are juggling…Lord, I don’t know either exactly what I want to pray for Julia but, You know her greatest need…it is not beyond You to just throw a solution here or there directly into her lap.

Am I being presumptuous, Lord?! I don’t think so….I know that You carry me and my sisters, even in the frequent times we don’t feel hands under us at all. Thank you for also giving us each other. I love you Jesus!

I remember when I was going through a big health trial 12 years ago, a preacher on the radio said “If you are carrying a ONE TON WEIGHT on your shoulders and someone (usually Jesus) lifts it just 1/8 of an inch off your shoulders, you are NO LONGER carrying it!” It made me imagine a heavy steel beam, still present / hovering, but lifted…focusing on it HELPED to lift my heart too!! I need to remember that in my own life!
