Lord, what you have just done for me, I have no words. No matter how things turn out, Isaiah 43:2 will forever stick with me.

We talked in church yesterday about having a kingdom mindset and facing the tough realization that very few of us have prayers that are centered around God’s kingdom and not our personal kingdom. We pray for safety traveling and praise him for various blessings like our family and finances, which are good and should be done! But it was an encouraging reminder for me that my prayers can’t just be focused around my own kingdom. That reminds me of today’s prompt. Today I will try to be more thankful for things that are in the kingdom of God and not just my own. Today I thank God for sending His beautiful perfect son. I thank Him for my salvation. I thank Him for each of His children’s faces that I’ll get to see today and pray I can be a light of Him to each of them.

I so love how God has been with me/us throughout this whole time of fear, unrest, sheltering in our homes….
Always when my anxiety has threatened He has brought His Word to me to reassure and comfort me. And I share with others
    And He is here.
Someone said yesterday,”Whatever my fiery furnace may be, I want to walk toward it with the knowledge, with the peace, that it is well with my soul.” Amen sister!
Thank you all for your comments each day, ❤️

I am struck this morning by how different the two translations are. The book begins 1 Samuel chapter 12: 24 with Above all, fear the Lord… Whereas the app version starts with Only fear the Lord…It’s interesting how different just a couple of words can offer different meanings in different translations! Wishing everyone a blessed day!
