This week my spiritual practice (or “soul training” as James Bryan Smith calls it) was to say this psalm as I got up and as I went to sleep, to focus the mind on the generosity of God. :)

Completely agree, Margaret! When we can’t gather in person with our church families, it’s so nice to have this online community of believers to pray with and learn from together.

I have come to love this community and look forward to reading everyone’s posts each day. Praying for the hard things some are going through, and getting to know you all through your styles of writing. I don’t post much because I don’t usually feel like I have much profound to say, but I enjoy feeling like I “belong” just by getting to “know” you through your posts. May God richly bless each of you today!

And thank you dear sisters for praying for me yesterday. My procedure went very well! The doctors notes were very encouraging and positive! God is good!

Oh have I gone through some darkest valleys myself. But God… (as Tina always puts it). HE has walked and seen me through some of the most darkest valleys. Times I was extremely scared! Memories I never want to go back to.  Nor do I want ANYONE to ever go through. But now those awful times and memories can be used for HIS glory to be there for somebody. I know that God is turning this around for good!
“I fear no evil for YOU are with me.”
That my dear sisters is a promise! Even when I feel scared I have the assurance that Jesus walks with me. it’s HIS footprints in the sand. -
