My heart longs for that day, no more troubles of the day no more tears, no more unknowns, no more anxiety, depression, fear of the unknown or just simply scared. HE is coming for us and hopefully soon.

  8. Linda B. says:

I prayed before reading today’s scripture that it would be just what I needed to hear to help CALM MY FEARS. Combined with yesterdays readings That is exactly what I received.

I have had many tears recently. Our business has been without work for 5 months Due to the economy. We have serious financial worries and it is affecting our health. I find myself barely sleeping and having no rest since I wake up often so anxious about how to handle the next day. Our savings are almost gone. We have cut everything (we are thrifty to begin with). It is the fear of the unknown that is so hard to live with. We are very close to our retirement years and I fear that this will put us as a burden to our children in our later years ( I told myself I would never do that to them since i took care of my parents and I am glad I did, but, it was so hard).

I remind myself that we have a home that is safe, clean, and we own it. Our pantry was well stocked before this downturn. We have large gardens and we will use it to feed ourselves and others.

We have good friends, family and our church who have and will pray for us!!!

I continue to remind myself that my Savior has a plan and I am part of that. I pray to find the joy that being fearful throws a shadow over.

I want to say THANK YOU to She Reads Truth Family. I published once before during a very difficult time and your prayers and kind words gave me strength to face the next day. When I read the daily messages sent out to offer comfort and support to others I feel words of Matthew 11:20, “Come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” in action.

    Many thanks Linda B.

    4. Jane K says:

Heavenly Father, you know Linda by name. You created her in Your image, pour out Your favor over her, her family, and their business. Bring a time of refreshment to them and increase their faith in You. Remind Linda of the times past that You have been there for her and provided for her. Give her peaceful nights and refreshing sleep. I ask this all in Jesus Christ’s name.

      1. Maricella Smith says:

        Amen praying for you Linda
