My dear sisters in Christ, I feel it is sad that besides the worldwide threat of COVID-19, we here in, one of the supposed civilized nations in the worlds, the United States of America are becoming a threat to each other because of prejudices and racisms. There is a song I remember from my childhood and from singing to my boys, “Jesus Loves the Little Children”. The lyrics go: “Jesus loves the little children, all the children of world, red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight, Jesus loves the little children.” I feel maybe we, Americans, need to heed the words of this song and love everyone despite their skin color, their faith, their gender or gender identity, their disabilities or any other way they may be different from us. We don’t need to cause more problems and reasons for death than we already have with COVID-19. Lord, help us to see past our differences and love each other the way You love each of us. Help us to be there for each other the way You are there for us. Amen.

Thank you all for the prayers, I appreciate it so much and feel much better this morning. I took a peek at our local news last night and it said those warnings had been rumors circulating on social media, which I don’t have but my manager does. I understand that they don’t want to cause panic but anything is still possible, better to be safe and aware but to continue to trust in God through it all.

Right now I am thinking of “Here as in Heaven” by Elevation Worship…

Spirit of God fall fresh on us
    We need Your presence
Your kingdom come, Your will be done
    Here as in heaven

Will continue to pray for you ladies for safety, peace and good health, wherever you are, and for your families, communities, and our nation.
