Day 6

Grace Day

Hebrews 4:15–16

BY She Reads Truth

Use this day to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading, giving thanks for the grace that is ours in Christ.

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin. Therefore, let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in time of need.
Hebrews 4:15–16

I’ll be going to court again soon. This was the unexpected curveball I was talking about a few days ago. However I am thankful. (I can’t believe I’m saying I’m thankful). I’m thankful that this court hearing is with mediation. We go through a mediator.
The mediator listens to both sides and then goes before the judge. I can’t get into detail here but prayers are appreciated. This is a very important hearing involving my child. THIS morning’s verse couldn’t fit any better. Another reminder that God is with me. And I’m SO thankful I don’t have to go through a mediator to get to my God, my Jesus! I can approach Him with boldness and I will receive mercy and grace! Now that’s OUR God!

Amen, Mari! I love that we can boldly approach the throne of grace and get to Jesus ourselves. What a privilege!
