Yes harmony! Unity! Let’s focus on what unites us. We are eternally united in Christ! All the rest is chasing after the wind. I need this reminder as I often find myself trying to convince others to “join my team” when the only real captain is Christ. Political climate is horrendous here. Let me remember the battle is won. None of this mess matters a blink. Focus on Christ the unifier! Not easy at times. But it is iron that sharpens iron and the process is not gentle. Enjoy your weekend, my dear comrades in Christ! We are already victoious. Now let’s bring a little kingdom down here and celebrate! Love y’all.

This is my prayer today: that we love one another even as Christ first loved us, that we would treasure the Grace of God and live in harmony and rest in the peace Christ left for us. Amen

Yes! Praying for this message to make its way into the hearts of many in our divided country.

  4. Churchmouse says:

Harmony. What a sweet and tender little word. But not seen much these days unfortunately. Not in the White House. Not in Congress. Not in our states, nor in our cities. Not in our schools, not in our homes. And not even in our churches. The common denominator in all these places? Human beings, prone to sin. Solution? A Savior. One who frees us from our sinful nature. One who restores harmony with the very One who made us. One who enables us to rise above our human tendencies and who will one day restore harmony on a new earth. That day is coming but we can do better now. We who already know the Savior can show the way by being harmonious ourselves. Let us each do our part. One part harmony can lead to four part harmony can lead to a beautiful symphony of blended voices – all in praise to the One who makes it possible. Join me as I sing!
