Day 27

Grace Day

from the Genesis reading plan

Isaiah 43:2

BY She Reads Truth

Use this day to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading, giving thanks for the grace that is ours in Christ.

I will be with you
when you pass through the waters,
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not overwhelm you.
You will not be scorched
when you walk through the fire,
and the flame will not burn you.
Isaiah 43:2

I have this verse highlighted in my bible with the words “when” circled to signify that we WILL in fact go through trials. It is all a matter of “when” we do and to remember that God is with us. Thank you SRT

Goodness knows I sure have needed this verse in the last year. I’m so grateful that God is with me through it all. And “Through it all, I’ve learned to trust in Jesus, I’ve learned to trust in God…” I love that song. It came to mind reading this.

What an awesome encouragement for us. Even as sinners, God promised us! This verse is confirmation for me today! God spoke to my heart telling me, “I won’t leave you…I will never forsake you.”

Yes, SRT, I will pray, rest and reflect on this verse this day. I have had many days where the waters have been high and the fire hot. I have had many days when I was unsure that I would “pass through.” BUT GOD.
    Nothing more need be said.
    BUT GOD.

Circumstances that we can not control….But God.
Circumstances that are our own fault…..But God.
He is so good to us.
