This is not only grace day but this is happy happy day! Celebrate with me! Our dear sweet Julia, age 5, accepted Jesus into her heart last evening. God is so good – I had just commented here yesterday about passing the baton of faith and look what God did! Our daughter and son in law, upon Julia’s birth, had written her letters to give to her on the day of her salvation. They’ve kept them in her baby album, believing that God would be faithful to accomplish just that. They had to wait only five years. While Julia is too young to read the letters, Heather and Jeremy wrote yesterday’s date on the outside of the envelope and Julia will read the letters when she’s older and more skilled at reading. This Mimi’s heart is filled to overflowing! Such a wonderful moment last night when Julia video chatted with us to tell us her great news. I will treasure that moment in my heart forever – straight into eternity!

Nothing/no one loves us like our Lord. I am humbled when I think how amazing his love is. Our point of reference is human love which we know is imperfect and often disappointing. Thank you God for your love and your promise to never remove it. I am safe in your love.
