Day 13

Grace Day

from the Revelation reading plan

Psalm 107:1-3

BY She Reads Truth

Use this day to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading, giving thanks for the grace that is ours in Christ.

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
his faithful love endures forever.
Let the redeemed of the LORD proclaim
that he has redeemed them from the power of the foe
and has gathered them from the lands—
from the east and the west,
from the north and the south.
—Psalm 107:1–3

Yes HE is so good! Will share more tomorrow but I have to say this. Even in some of the simplest ways when we say a simple prayer He answers it.

  2. PamC says:

After the horrors in this week’s readings this is joy and comfort. The reminder that our just and loving God has saved us. We get to count it all joy and proclaim to all that it is His grace that saves.
    Happy weekend Sisters

  3. Nana K says:

Redeemed: to buy or pay off; clear by payment; to recover by payment or satisfaction; to discharge or fulfill (a pledge or promise); to deliver from sin and its consequences by means of a sacrifice offered for the sinner. Anyway it’s defined, Christ has paid the price for my sins by His precious blood. There is no greater love than this. And now I will proclaim His amazing grace and love forever and always!

  4. Amy C says:

    Amen Sister!

  5. Shawn Parks says:

Redeemed from the power of the foe! That was the past. This is the present. His goodness is eternal! My today is different from my yesterday because He gathered me when I was far from Him and brought me into His arms. Now, safe and secure, I will face today’s challenges with confidence in Him, my God who had no reason to save me except for His great love and mercy. I am abundantly blessed!

  6. Churchmouse says:

“Let the redeemed of the Lord proclaim…”

How will the world know if we remain silent?

May not one rock cry out because I have not boldly spoken out about Jesus.
