4 Yet he himself bore our sicknesses,

crushed because of our iniquities;
punishment for our peace was on him,
and we are healed by his wounds.

How must have the followers of Jesus felt today? After the horror of Good Friday they awoke to Passover. Today is Passover for our Jewish friends. It doesn’t always coincide, but it does this year. Were they thinking of their deliverance from Egypt, but wondering about the deliverance that Jesus was supposedly going to bring? It is a difficult day, knowing that Jesus lies in the tomb.
My heart sits in quiet contemplation. I love Churchmouse talking about us sheep pondering sin. I join you. A day to ponder our sinful selves, our shame and the glory of the cross. -

I am full of joy and joy, my heart can not stop praising, because on that cross I not only received the forgiveness of my sins, nor only received eternal life, but I received a savior, a father, a best friend, everything that I need. And to think that who gave everything for me is the one who has the power over all things makes me fill with courage, with pride, because I know that in reality I am not worth anything but for him I am worth everything.
I keep projecting this scene from my mind: this is the king of kings sitting on his throne, and he realizes my suffering, then he gets up, takes off his crown, puts on the superhero cloak and runs to rescue me. He did not care about everything he had to suffer, the only thing that matters to me is that I was fine, and now as a victorious soldier he sits down again on his throne and sits on his legs.
His voice tells me “I would do that for you one and a thousand times, all those that are necessary, because you are the girl of my eyes, my princess, my greatest treasure, and no matter how many times you make mistakes I will be there , you’re worth it. ” These words fill me with strength and encouragement, it gives me an identity, and also a mission: I may never be able to reward such a sacrifice, but if I can give my life to Jesus, and turn it into alavanza, And that will do, for I will give everything for the one who gave everything for me.
He shed his love in my heart, and I know he will do it with all of you.-

This brought tears to my eyes and a contemplative spirit to my heart as I was planning my busy Saturday before Easter preparstions. I will now slow down and remember.
