Day 20

Grace Day

from the Luke reading plan

Romans 10:14-17

BY She Reads Truth

Use this day to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading, giving thanks for the grace that is ours in Christ.

14 How, then, can they call on him they have not believed in? And how can they believe without hearing about him? And how can they hear without a preacher? 15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news. 16 But not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed our message? 17 So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message about Christ.
Romans 10:14–17

Sharing the gospel is as easy as sharing your testimony. Called to preach or not, God requires us to win souls for His kingdom. While theoretically it sounds quite simple, it requires us to be vulnerable in conversation with non-believers, of course, not the point where we allow them to influence our hearts and minds, but allow seeds to be planted about the One we serve.

“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ” (Romans 10:17). Only God can grant faith to a person. Until He opens eyes, blindness persists. Praise God for the gift He gives when she opens the eyes of the heart
