Day 13

Grace Day

from the Give Thanks reading plan

1 Chronicles 29:11–13

BY She Reads Truth

Use this day to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading, giving thanks for the grace that is ours in Christ.

11 Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the splendor and the majesty, for everything in the heavens and on earth belongs to you. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom, and you are exalted as head over all. 12 Riches and honor come from you, and you are the ruler of everything. Power and might are in your hand, and it is in your hand to make great and to give strength to all. 13 Now therefore, our God, we give you thanks and praise your glorious name.
1 Chronicles 29:11–13

“In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. And now we thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name” (1 Chronicles 29:12-13). He is able to give strength to all. How comforting. He is my strength when I am weak. He gives strength from His endless supply. I can trust Him and rest in the knowledge that what He calls me to do He enables and empowers me to carry out.

He is in control of everything. That brings comfort to my heart knowing that I can trust in Him
