BY She Reads Truth
Use this day to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading, giving thanks for the grace that is ours in Christ.
Let the whole earth shout triumphantly to God!
Serve the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Acknowledge that the LORD is God.
He made us, and we are his—
his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Psalm 100:1–3

Thank you Lord for this beautiful life. “He made us, and we are His.” What a wonderful reminder that we belong to Him and can seek shelter and find rest on the shadow of His wings. I love you, Lord.

I don’t know if I serve the Lord with gladness. Most days, it’s out of obligation or some other selfish ambition. In those cases—it’s serving myself, not Him. What a sobering reminder to serve my Creator… with thanksgiving and gladness.

Amen, sister. We are completely flawed and I’m so thankful that we serve a God who knows this and still pours grace into our lives the way He does!!! I started this reading plan because I wanted to be intentional with how I spend my time; instead of being on my phone doing other things I should be in His word. I hate to say it’s starting to feel like an obligation because, HELLO, if I’m not reading things that I needed to hear, but I totally understand where you’re coming from.

“Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his”. He made me. [He redeemed me]. I am His. What delight. What cause for praise. I am His. Forever.
