I’m always so taken be the fact that God sees us, such a beautiful example in Hagar and Ishmael. That God cared enough to come and speak to her and bring her back home. To provide for them even though there was so much turmoil. Not alone. God makes a way and blesses Ishmael. So much Grace here for Abram, Sarai, and Hagar.

32Jesus then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34They said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.”

26Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you are seeking me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves. 27Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal.”
These verses stood out to me!!
It reminds me of the song lyrics by Natalie Grant, Help me want the Healer more than the healing Help me want the Savior more than the saving Help me want the Giver more than the giving Help me want you Jesus more than anything”

Nope! You can just push the back arrow at the top without posting and it is still marked as “read”

Verse 63 really stands out to me: “The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing.” (NLT translation). By faith we are saved, not by works. We must believe.

Do we have to post each day to make it official?
