5 Let a righteous man strike me—that is a kindness;
let him rebuke me—that is oil on my head.
My head will not refuse it,
for my prayer will still be against the deeds of evildoers.This spoke volumes to me.
Accountability. Iron sharpens iron. Correct in love. -
Psalms 142:1 I cry aloud to the Lord;
I lift up my voice to the Lord for mercy.
2 I pour out before him my complaint;
before him I tell my trouble. -
8 Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I entrust my life.-
Oops! Hit post too soon! :-) this verse is such affirmation after a year of reading God’s word every morning!

144:2b for in Thy sight no man living is righteous. May I never forget that and think too highly of myself.

Yes! It’s been great, a real discipline for me. Next year I plan to work on “prayer” since I have the Bible under my belt for reference! Blessings!

Yes! And what a gift you all have been during this journey this year!

Yes!! I’m amazed that I’ve been able to stick with it, even when I keep falling behind. I’ve never been more than 2 weeks back, but manage to catch back up pretty quickly. Also, I’ve been *actively* reading, doing inductive marking, and feel like I have learned SO MUCH. What a blessing this year has been to me! This has been amazing.

Completing this is the only New Year’s resolution I’ve ever kept! So excited!!
