What a faithful God we have who keeps his promises!!

I like the last verse in Timothy. Vs16- I think in the rush of life we often get lost and things get blurry and it’s hard to remember that we need to watch our own lives and make sure we’re doing what is right for us and our salvation. We get lost fixing ourselves to please our spouses, kids, parents, friends, boyfriend, etc. and we so easily loose focus on what’s important. Finding what is right for ourselves and our salvation!

  3. Sarah says:

The verses that spoke to me the most were 2 Timothy 4:2-5. I see it so much, even in the church, that people only appear to be following God. Yet their hearts are not fully committed to Him. How can we lead others to Him if we’re only living half heartedly for Christ? I pray that our eyes are opened and a passion for God ignited once again, because whatever time we think we have, we don’t.

  4. Laura says:

17 Oh, Lord God! You Yourself made the heavens and earth by Your great power and with Your outstretched arm. Nothing is too difficult for You!
26 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah: 27 “Look, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is anything too difficult for Me?
33 They have turned their backs to Me and not their faces. Though I taught them time and time again, they do not listen and receive discipline.
39 I will give them one heart and one way so that for their good and for the good of their descendants after them, they will fear Me always.

40 “I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never turn away from doing good to them, and I will put fear of Me in their hearts so they will never again turn away from Me. 41 I will take delight in them to do what is good for them, and with all My heart and mind I will faithfully plant them in this land.

42 “For this is what the Lord says: Just as I have brought all this great disaster on these people, so am I about to bring on them all the good I am promising them.
6 Yet I will certainly bring health and healing to it and will indeed heal them. I will let them experience the abundance of peace and truth.
8 I will purify them from all the wrongs they have committed against Me, and I will forgive all the wrongs they have committed against Me, rebelling against Me. 9 This city will bear on My behalf a name of joy, praise, and glory before all the nations of the earth, who will hear of all the good I will do for them. They will tremble with awe because of all the good and all the peace I will bring about for them.

So many precious truths today!!! So thankful for God’s Word!

  5. Katrina says:

Reminders today to stay strong and true to the Lord worshipping no one and nothing else. HE ONLY provides us — 2 Timothy 4:17 But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion’s mouth.

  6. Suzanne says:

It’s both sad and encouraging that the Lord had to remind Israel so many times about their history, and about the fact that punishment would be certain, but wouldn’t last forever. Afterwards, there is always the hope and promise of restoration for the repentant. This is still so applicable to me every day. Thank you Lord that your ways are better than mine.

    1. Lauren says:

Amen. In all struggles, no matter how disastrous, God reminds us that He will restore His people. Truly a comfort.

  7. Leah S says:

I thought this verse was interesting..how often do we hear God refer to His soul? Even more proof that we are made in His image..
Jer 32:41 I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul.

  8. Nicole says:

This verse really encouraged me today!

3 Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
