  1. Gammaw says:

    Psalms 119:73. Your hands have made and fashioned me; give me understanding that I may learn your commandments. This is so what I need. I am grateful for SRT and the studies here.

  2. Amanda says:

    71 It is good for me that I was afflicted,
    That I may learn Your statutes. – this verse stuck out to me, as I have gone astray in the past. I often feel bad and guilty about it, but this verse made me realize that my time astray has made me appreciate God’s love and Word all the more. My time away has brought me closer to God, and for that I’m thankful.

    I love resting in the Psalms on Sunday. Sundays have finally become a day of rest for our family. (I know it doesn’t have to be on Sunday but that we should have a day of rest) I couldn’t believe how hard it was to actually relax for a day! We were constantly coming up with things we HAD to do and then battled with the “shoulds” it was exhausting in and of itself. Finally, we have embraced this day to focus on the Lord and our family. Today we took our three kids to the park for a picnic and found leaves in red, orange, yellow, green and all the inbetweens. Then we played at the playground. My son split open his chin and we are currently at the urgent care to see if he needs stitches BUT, today was so outrageously wonderful to just love on our kids. We did something similar last weekend and I just LIVE for these days now. They grow so fast and I’m so grateful to have a day to S L O W down and enjoy them. This Bible study, and these Psalm Sundays, have helped me to really live, love and grow in my faith. I am so thankful.

    1. ~Grace & Peace says:

      Praying for your son. I hope you’re out of Urgent Care now

      1. Kristen S says:

        Thank you so much! He got out after a four hour wait (really hard on a four year old!) and he got two stitches!! I waited in the car with our younger two but his daddy said he did great! Two stitches is SO much better than it could have been. I’m so glad he’s ok :) thank you for the prayers

  4. Erin says:

    Teach me good judgement and knowledge. Teach me to be good and do good… Then, let me teach others about you.

  5. Katrina says:

    Psalm 119:59 I have considered my ways
    and have turned my steps to your statutes.

  6. EmmaRae says:

    69 The insolent smear me with lies,
    but with my whole heart I keep your precepts;
    70 their heart is unfeeling like fat,
    but I delight in your law.
    71 It is good for me that I was afflicted,
    that I might learn your statutes.
    72 The law of your mouth is better to me
    than thousands of gold and silver pieces.

  7. alielle47 says:

    This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life. Psalm 119:50

  8. TGBTG says:

    Psalm 19
    50 My comfort in my suffering is this:
    Your promise preserves my life.

    54 Your decrees are the theme of my song
    wherever I lodge.

    57 You are my portion, Lord;
    I have promised to obey your words.

    64 The earth is filled with your love, Lord;
    teach me your decrees.

    66 Teach me knowledge and good judgment,
    for I trust your commands.

    76 May your unfailing love be my comfort,
    according to your promise to your servant.
