  2. Carol Bowman says:

    6But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.

  3. Sarah Johnson says:

    If we were saved by works, then grace wouldn’t be grace! Romans always dropping the truth

  4. Sharon Ide says:

    The book of Hosea reveals the unfaithfulness and treachery of the human heart. God is our Maker, our King, and has been to us like a loving bridegroom, and yet we chase after wine and grain and lovers of the world. We make idols of materials and bow down to them. Thank you Lord for revealing to us our condition, that we may have our eyes opened to repent of it and turn to truly worship you.

  5. JoAnn Foley-DeFiore says:

    4But what is God’s reply to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” 5So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace.”
    God is not yet done with His Chosen People Israel!!

  6. E Hong says:

    3Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord;
    his going out is sure as the dawn;
    he will come to us as the showers,
    as the spring rains that water the earth.”

  7. Taylor EliseSmith says:

    16Now if the firstfruits offered up are holy, so is the whole batch. And if the root is holy, so are the branches.
    Priorities—be aware of seeking his kingdom first

  8. May Alcorn says:

    6For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice,
    the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
