These reading really taught me more about going through your trials and learning the lesson that God intended for us. As the scripture says, no woman naturally delivers without labor pains. We can’t get to the good, without getting through the hurt and the pains. There are gold lessons to learn tin those times of refinement. It is in those times that we can get real with ourself and tell ourselves the honest truth. If the good comes fast, we should know that it won’t last. God shows His promise to us every single day by breathing Hid breath into each of us individually. There are people that did not have the same opportunity as us to wake up this morning, God had different plans for each of us that were chosen. Each day he gives us is an extra chance at repentance, another chance to receive His love and promise that he has been trying to bring us to all this time. A call to action that I have for myself (and others) is are you living the life I’d promise that God has for you by practicing the faith and allowing his mighty blessings flow through you into the lives of other by spreading the Joy that comes with acknowledging Him as the Creator of all things.

Romans 4 is such a beautiful text to me in that Paul reveals the perfect wisdom of God establishing his salvation plan through Abraham and David. From the beginning He planned a salvation not of works, but of faith through grace. Not dependent on circumcision and yet He was also honored by obedience. I just worship God’s perfect wisdom and amazing compassion in all of it.
