  3. Amy Anderson says:

    20Come, my people, enter your chambers,
    and shut your doors behind you;
    hide yourselves for a little while
    until the fury has passed by.

    21For behold, the Lord is coming out from his place
    to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity,
    and the earth will disclose the blood shed on it,
    and will no more cover its slain.

  5. Katelyn Newton says:

    The reminder from Isaiah that “all we have accomplished You have done for us” is important. The world tells us that what we accomplish is a measure of our worth. But when we remember that it is God who does the work for us, all of the glory goes to him and our worth is found in him.

  7. E Hong says:

    for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.
