It’s crazy that god can open our minds to help us understand things we couldn’t before and to see more clearly!

  7. This is a hard book for me to follow– I am a very visual person and feel the need to take notes to try to keep track of all the Kings in my mind! So many in succession and of different parts of Asia. Looking into the big picture of today though– If you are in a position of leadership, you must be sure to intently follow God for you have many other people you are effecting with your decisions. I also love this part of Luke. No matter how strong your faith is in Jesus, if I were one of the 12, I would seriously doubted He would of risen 3 days later. So cool to think about it.

    1. Elise says:

Sometimes the names blend together- but the overarching story stays the same. The people of Israel and Judah turned from the Lord.

  8. Katrina P says:

Once the people turned away from God they were destined for experience strife – what a great reminder to always face TOWARDS Him and trust His word!
