    Hallelujah!

  2. Sharon Ide says:

We tend to envy the disciples and their discourse with Jesus on the road to Emmaus, but we know not only that Jesus is the fulfillment of the law and the prophets, but that He also comes to dwell with His people in the Spirit – a great and wonderful mystery revealed. May we rejoice in this splendid truth with hearts burning.

  3. JoAnn Foley-DeFiore says:

35Then the two went over everything that happened on the road and how they recognized him when he broke the bread.

  4. Katie says:

Luke 1-35..I can relate to the two travelers being in the presence of God and not knowing it..too often I forget that I’m not alone and God will never leave me! He is there all the time whether I acknowledge him or not. I’m praying to always seek God’s presence!

    1. AnnieB says:

Me too Katie! I am fixing my eyes on Jesus- not the problems.

Praying for you ladies today who will read this, that the Lord will open hearts and minds, give us wisdom & insight into His Word, and draw us closer to Him. He is faithful, and His faithfulness never runs out. Turn to Him only, trust Him only. Praying for great blessings and spiritual breakthrough today. Thankful for you!

  6. Maybe it’s to warn against false prophets? We are warned to be careful of these as there will be many of them in the end times

  7. SusieAmb says:

Makes you wonder why on earth God chose Jeroboam?! It seems his first act as new ruler was to declare the practice of idolatry – couldn’t have been a very godly man in the first place surely

  8. Lindsay says:

Jesus Christ is the Living One, as the angels at the tomb said. He died, but did not stay in the grave. He has no place among the dead! Hallelujah!
