I got goosebumps from reading Psalm 69, because it foreshadows perfectly and sublimely the experience of Jesus on earth. It just reinforces to me that the Bible is one whole, not two parts, and everything points to Jesus.

Psalm 69:13 “But as for me, my prayer is to You, O Lord, at an acceptable time;
O God, in the greatness of Your lovingkindness,
Answer me with Your saving truth.”
This has been one of my favorite prayer verses for a while now. A good reminder to pray in all circumstances and to wait patiently for the Lord’s answer. -
Love Psalm 28:19: “Blessed be the Lord,
who daily bears us up;
God is our salvation.” I selfishly wish “daily” could be longer, but then I remember my desperate need for grace every hour, every minute. Thank you, Lord, for providing the way of salvation! -
8 I have become a stranger to my brothers,
an alien to my mother’s sons.
This verse struck me today. When my heart changed, so did the rest of me. My behavior, my language, the movies/shows I watch, etc. I now have friends who don’t know me. I believe this is a big part of why my first marriage ended. I became a stranger to him, walking in the light and hating the darkness. We no longer walked the same path. Some friends have also been saved and their lives have changed too. There are others who still prefer the other path. Once the Holy Spirit came to live in me, it changed me. To try to live they previous way makes me feel dirty in my own skin. My prayer is that those friends who still walk on the other path will not become such strangers that we can no longer connect and that they can see what God has in store for them through me.-
