18And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

May the glory of the gospel shine forth from us much more brightly than the shining face of Moses. For we have the Spirit indwelling in us, and a glory that is permanent and eternal.

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.“

2 Corinthians 3 is full of some really good stuff! I think 2 Corinthians 3:3 is my new favorite verse, I just love that we are living letters written by Christ and mailed out to the world! Beautiful.

What I thought was cool about this passage is that we as Christians are the letters of the spirit! We are the the new letters to the world about who Jesus is! In my personal notes I asked the question, is your letter being written well, or poorly? How is the letter of our life showcasing what Jesus has done for us?

Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom! Oh how I long for freedom in my life. Freedom from anxiety and continual worry, from daily exhaustion and a lack of joy. I may desire freedom so greatly, but I must welcome the spirit of the Lord within me.

6He has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit produces life.
we are to minister the spirit of the law, not the letter… interesting. I know I’ve read it, but this seemed new this morning
