Day 7

Weekly Truth

from the Job reading plan

Job 1:21

BY She Reads Truth

Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the gospel with us wherever we go.

This week we will memorize Job’s initial response to his suffering.

Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
and naked I will leave this life.
The LORD gives, and the LORD takes away.
Blessed be the name of the LORD.

Job 1:21

I am going through an unwanted and unmerited divorce. Nothing I asked for but all because of his pride. I read this verse and I can’t help but wonder, “What do you have planned God?” “What do you have in store for me?” No matter what it is, it’s not God’s fault. He will still be blessed! Blessed be the name of the Lord!

  3. Jacqueline Rosario says:

I’m praying for Oliver. Be strong and courage. Thank you for sharing.

  4. Danya says:

Lord little Oliver is in a precarious situation. But lord your word in Psalm 139 reminds us that we are fearfully snd wonderfully made that before one of the days of our lives came into being you already knew everything about us. That Lord your love for little Oliver out numbers the gains of sand. So Lord in you wisdom be merciful and heal Oliver and Lord at This moment I ask that you would draw ever so near to this family and give them peace. We leave the outcome totally in your hands. In Jesus’ name. Amen
