Day 6

Grace Day

Psalm 68:5-6

BY She Reads Truth

Use today to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading, giving thanks for the grace that is ours in Christ.

God in his holy dwelling is
a father of the fatherless
and a champion of widows.
God provides homes for those who are deserted.
He leads out the prisoners to prosperity,
but the rebellious live in a scorched land.
—Psalm 68:5-6

The first screen is always in the translation that you have your Bible set to…so that’s different for everyone.

Today is Saturday, and I was prepared to do a long study, to have to consider something new, to have to focus on the task at hand. But what a lovely surprise that today, God is reminding me gently to S L O W down and inviting us to take a REST as He commands us to do throughout scripture, to reflect on what has transpired that week, to praise Him for His goodness and mercy, and to be refreshed by His amazing love for us. Thank you Jesus!
