Day 13

Grace Day

from the 1 & 2 Thessalonians reading plan

1 Peter 5:8-9

BY She Reads Truth

Use this day to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading, giving thanks for the grace that is ours in Christ.

Be sober-minded, be alert. Your adversary the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour. Resist him, firm in the faith, knowing that the same kind of sufferings are being experienced by your fellow believers throughout the world.
—1 Peter 5:8-9

Thank you so much for this scripture! I have been so worried about an upcoming test result…allowing the enemy to torment me constantly with what-ifs. This scripture reminds me to remain focused on God…through prayer. This is the same trick the enemy has used against me in the past…I am grateful for God’s grace, peace and discernment. I will remain prayerful until I hear from God and see His will manifested in my life!
