Day 6

Grace Day

from the 1 & 2 Thessalonians reading plan

Romans 8:37-39

BY She Reads Truth

Use this day to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading, giving thanks for the grace that is ours in Christ.

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
—Romans 8:37–39

How can a verse that you have read so many times seem so fresh, new, and EXACTLY right at the right time? Just what I needed. Thank you, Jesus.

It is so comforting to know that these struggles I have right now won’t and will not defeat me. No matter what happens, I can rest in him. His love never changes. I can overcome through him!

I just discovered this today, and I am thankful I did. I want to remember that I am a conqueror and that He is, who He says He is in my life, and I am, who He says I am. I can’t be separated from His truth anymore. I’ve listened to and willfully molded myself into those lies way too long, it has to stop. I want to be glued to His truth. Thankful I found this.
