Exodus 7-8, Matthew 6:19-34
The verses in Matthew are some of the most comforting and convicting in the Bible
Whew I struggle with worrying about today, I’m always worried about what’s to come and what I need to do tomorrow etc. but
““So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
Matthew 6:34 reminds me that I need to worry about today because tomorrow has its own worries and the things I’m struggling with today is enough just for today
Thanks for sharing great insight
As a person who struggles with anxiety this passage is always an important reminder to me.
26Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
i love this verse !! always trust in Him -ellie
God who is sovereign over all creation for his purposes (plagues) cares for us more than the birds of the air. May we marvel at such power that is dispensed for us.
What a great passage to read in Matthew 6! I need to remind myself daily of this verse, “And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? “ – Matthew 6:27
