Agreed. Applies to us all. Our plans our wishes…must decrease so Gods will and purposes can increase. So hard…so true.

I agree! He need to be first as well as our relationship with him increase and grow through him everyday!

8The wind blows where it pleases, and you hear its sound, but you don’t know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

I love that. When I hear the Holy Spirit I need to stop and listen. I need to pay more attention to those winds in my spirit to see if it is the Holy Spirit.

John 3:12 “If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things?” Wow.. this verse really stood out to me because I feel like it’s so true. Some people don’t think God can do even simple earthly things, so they can’t even fathom what he’s actually capable of.

I REALLY admire Noah’s faith. The story of the ark makes me in awe and wonder of what that would have been like. Johns love for Jesus and his reverence for Him is something I want to resemble. “He must increase and I must decrease.”

“God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him” (John 3:17). He came to save. To rescue. To redeem. To restore. Condemnation was the default. Jesus came to break the bondage and overturn our death sentence. Because of Him, we are free!
