  • Content Director
    She Reads Truth is hiring a Content Director to lead in the creation of daily content for the She Reads Truth and He Reads Truth communities. This position is full-time, on-site in our offices in Brentwood, TN. The Content Director reports to the Chief Content Officer and provides the following responsibilities:

    Manage editorial department
    • - Under direction of the Chief Content Officer, manage the people and processes of the editorial department
    • - Supervise the work and performance of Managing Editor, General Editor, Kids Read Truth Editor, and Editorial Assistant
    • - Participate in high level vision and planning meetings for all Read Truth brands as desired by CEO and CCO
     

    Direct research & plan development
    • - Initiate reading plan research
    • - Direct and oversee reading plan development
    • - Organize and lead reading plan vision meetings
    • - Guide year-round editorial planning process


    Provide theological oversight for all Read Truth brands
    • - Provide theological direction and review for all reading plans and content-driven products
    • - Provide theological oversight and approval of all outgoing written content, including daily devotional content


    Provide general theological oversight for all things SRT, HRT, KRT
    • - Compose and/or review company responses to questions concerning faith and theology
    • - Oversee devotional writing & writer management
    • - Supervise management and recruitment of devotional writers
    • - Oversee editing of SRT and HRT devotional content


    Candidate requirements
    • - Biblically literate, with a high view of Scripture
    • - Two years editorial and publishing experience
    • - Pastoral experience
    • - Theological training (Masters degree or higher in theology or related field)
    • - Experienced writer and content developer (ability to write well and communicate clearly is a must)
    • - A humble and mature disposition, both personally and across all public platforms
    • - Ability to work full time in our office in Nashville, TN

  • Fulfillment Specialist
    She Reads Truth exists to create ‘Women in the Word of God Every Day’. This mission drives our team in everything we do and we're looking for someone to join us in this pursuit. We are seeking a full-time Fulfillment Specialist to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate and efficient operation of shipments from She/He Reads Truth. RESPONSIBILITIES
    • - Perform a variety of fulfillment duties such as pulling customer orders, packing/assembling orders, labeling boxes
    • - Verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications
    • - Check outbound orders for accuracy and completeness, such as matching shipping label with invoice number
    • - Process daily outgoing mail shipments
    • - Ensure space and amenities are kept clean and tidy
    • - Occasional supply audits
    SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
    • - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • - Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment with ability to manage multiple priorities
    • - Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
    • - Ability to stand for long periods of time with ability to move nimbly in tight spaces
    • - Ability to excel and find joy in performing the same tasks everyday
    • -This is an in-house position. Must live in the greater Nashville/Franklin area.
