Esther: Day 14

Weekly Truth

Today's Text: Esther 4:14

Memorizing Scripture is one of the best ways to carry God-breathed truth, instruction, and reproof wherever we go.

As we read through the book of Esther, we are memorizing the book’s key verse in two parts. This week, we’ll memorize the end of the verse, which reminds us that God has a purpose for our lives.

“Who knows, perhaps you have come to your royal position for such a time as this.”
—Esther 4:14b

Write this passage down and post it on your mirror or at your desk, in your car or on the fridge—anywhere you’ll see it often. Save the image below as your phone’s lock screen so you can read these words of truth throughout the day.

We want to be a community that is intentional about Scripture memorization. Will you join us?

Struggling with a season of “why now, God?” And “why here, Jesus?” And this verse reminds me of God’s perfect plan as we zoom out on our lives in order to gain more perspective from Heaven’s eyes. Just like God isn’t mentioned specifically in Esther but is still very present, I don’t always feel God in the many million baby steps I take each day, but yet He works all of them beautifully into his Perfect Will. Thankful for this reminder and this community !

I never feel I am prepared for evangelism. I don’t feel like I am eloquent or have enough biblical knowledge to share in a way that’s effective. I often lack courage to share my faith in moments that come but I am reminded he will work his purpose with or without me and who knows if I am the one meant to speak in a time such as this?

Rose, very rarely do we have the opportunity to share the full gospel with someone, thankfully, evangelism can be just as easy as telling someone that God sees and loves them and then wish them a good day! I like to think of it as sowing little seeds of the gospel wherever we go. It’s truly a privilege that he chose us to be his salt and light on the earth. Don’t doubt that God wants to use you “for such a time as this”. You are unique in the way you see God and thus express him, the world needs you and me to speak his love – in fact the world is counting on us to as Christs ambassadors to be his hands and feet! We can do this girl, evangelism is easy when you focus on the revelation that Jesus loves us and the world infinitely! Let’s give Jesus his full reward by being that salt and light :) bless you!

  • For such a time as this! Same thoughts come to me. Something good will come of this maybe not now but later. I am trusting in MY GOD. Surrendering All to God as my mentors keep reminding me and pointing me to.

  • Thank you! I am loving your screen locks and studies.

“For such a time as this…” God ordained for me to be in this place at this time. I may feel out of place but this is His place for me. May I trust in His plan and fulfill His purpose for me.
