Announcing: Holding Tight to Permanent

by

“She wants to know what is true—not partly true, or sometimes true, or almost true. She wants to see Truth itself, face-to-face.”

Ready or not, a new year is coming. In a matter of days, we’ll close the door on 2016 and venture into the blank pages of a brand new calendar—a calendar full of changes we can’t predict and circumstances we can’t yet see. What better time to remember the One who never changes, of the One who is steadfast regardless of what lies behind us or before us?

Join us December 26-January 1 for “Holding Tight to Permanent,” a one-week plan created to remind us of what is truly true.

Featuring excerpts and stories from the book She Reads Truth: Holding Tight to Permanent in a World That’s Passing Away, written by our own Raechel Myers and Amanda Bible Williams, this week-long Scripture reading plan will turn our hearts toward the God who never changes and to His Word, which will never fade, no matter our circumstances.

A bit about the book: Written as two memoirs in one book, She Reads Truth tells the stories of two women who discovered, through very different lives and circumstances, that only God and His Word remain unchanged as the world around them shifted and slipped away. Every image points to the bigger picture—that God and His Word are true. Not because of anything we do, but because of who He is. Not once, not occasionally, but currently and all the time.

The “Holding Tight to Permanent” plan will be free on both SheReadsTruth.com and the She Reads Truth app. Will you invite a friend and join us?

We look forwarding to ringing in the new year with you, worshiping our faithful, unchanging, permanent God.

  • just started today, and am looking for some clarification on a particular verse. 1 Corinthians 13:12 says “for now we see a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known” What are some of your interpretations in this verse?
