Announcing: Ruth

Hey there, friends!

We want to take a moment to tell you how thankful we are that you’re with us for the current reading plan, Acts of the Apostles.

Here at #SRThq, our favorite part of the day is receiving pictures of you, joining together with your people to read the story of the early Church. Some of you are joining us over lunch breaks, discussing the weekly questions with your coworkers, while others are letting us in on your family vacations, enjoying #SheRecipes around the table. Make sure you join the fun by adding your photos to the hashtag, #TheyAllJoinedTogether.

As schedules and seasons change, God’s Truth remains constant. During the Acts reading plan, our team has been working hard to cheer you on in being a woman in the Word of God every day! We’ve also been planning ahead and preparing resources we pray will facilitate deeper engagement with Scripture in the weeks ahead.

It’s our goal to help you end summer well and joyfully transition into fall, and we think these plans will give you something to look forward to!

Acts of the Apostles: 6/6-7/17

Mourning and Dancing (Find out more here): 7/18-7/31

And, announcing…
Ruth: Fields of Provision: 8/1-8/13

That’s right, we’ll be reading the story of Ruth—one of our favorites!

The book of Ruth is a story of God’s providence. It deals with ground-level matters of the heart—family, marriage, grief, transtion, redemption—while highlighting God’s faithfulness to individuals, families, and generations. The story opens on Ruth when her life has completely fallen apart—a widow in a time of famine. It closes with Naomi bouncing a grandbaby on her knee as Ruth sits serenely, the great grandmother of King David and one of only five women mentioned in the line of Christ. We’re excited to spend 2 weeks finding God’s providence together.

And, of course, there’s a gorgeous study book to go along with the Scripture reading plan!

Plan your summer of reading Truth! Thru 7/3/16, bundle Mourning and Dancing and Ruth to save $8. Add both books to your cart to receive discount. No code necessary. Find yours at
