Announcing: The Resurrected Life

by

Happy Monday, friends!

Since leap year gives us a bonus day this month, we thought it was only appropriate to celebrate with an extra post!

Excitement about the next reading plan has been building at #SRThq for weeks now—quite literally, if you could see the stacks of boxes!—and we woke up this morning ready to let you in on all the fun.

We’re continuously grateful to meet you in God’s Word each day. The Lenten season, especially, makes us whisper thankful prayers for this community of women committed to walking through 47 days of Scripture as we remember Christ’s journey to the Cross. As believers in Jesus, the Resurrection story is one we cannot afford to forget. That’s why, after Lent, we’ll read on to find out what happens next!

Immediately following Easter Sunday, we’ll explore what took place after Christ stepped out of the tomb, in a plan appropriately titled The Resurrected Life.

In this 2-week plan (the perfect length to invite a friend along!) beginning March 28, we’ll pick up at that world-changing moment to explore the eternal significance of the Resurrection: What happened after Jesus conquered the grave? Who encountered the risen Christ? Where is He now? And what does all of this mean for us?

Of course, there’s a gorgeous new study book to go along with The Resurrected Life Scripture reading plan, and it’s one of our favorites to date! Featuring full-color photography, printed scripture passages and plenty of journaling space, this book also has a new component unique to this plan—interactive questions for each weekday reading!

As always, the study books are not required to follow along with the Scripture reading plan and response essays at SheReadsTruth.com or on the She Reads Truth app, but it’s our joy to offer them as an added level of study and accountability for you or your study group.

The Resurrected Life study books are now available at ShopSheReadsTruth.com— and if you sign up for our Auto-Ship program before tomorrow (3/1), you’ll receive this book in your first shipment!

In the meantime, gather your people, mark your calendars and continue joining us here daily for Lent!

Grace and Peace,
The SRT Team

I am having difficulty finding where to purchase this plan on the app. I tend to have trouble finding the new studies each time they are announced. Can someone tell me the easiest way to find the new studies so I don’t miss them??

  • Living abroad at the moment and getting physical mail here is very unreliable (South East Asia). Is there any way to buy a PDF version of the book? I would love to have access to a more in depth study also, while being away.

  • I do like the books but was greatly disappointed that the cover was of a woman twirling her hair on her finger. I suppose some may like that but it does not appeal at all to me and I say this knowing that we are all different. The Genesis book had a woman on the front but depicted her carefully choosing her way which is what the Bible wants us to do – not mindlessly be playing with her hair. I prefer for the cover – which is the first thing seen on a book – to be far more appealing and make you want to pick up the book and see what is in it.

      Get a book cover

I gotta admit, I wasn’t very excited to see a woman on the cover, on such a very but with that being said, it doesn’t bother me. Just mostly than it is a serious subject, and being a photographer I know there could have been more meaning and story told. But it is a nice picture. I just don’t usually buy the books that I can’t imagine holding onto because they seem more magazine like. But I try to get ones I know I will use again.

I gotta admit, I wasn’t very excited to see a woman on the cover, on such a very important faith topic and focus for our faith (not self related, but Jesus centered), but with that being said, it doesn’t bother me. Just mostly than it is a serious subject, and being a photographer I know there could have been more meaning and story told. But it is a nice picture. I just don’t usually buy the books that I can’t imagine holding onto because they seem more magazine like. But I try to get ones I know I will use again. I love all of their stuff, but I understand where you are coming from

Love your studies. Wish you provided your questions in your app. I cannot afford the 24$ for the books but would willing pay .99 cents more to have the questions/extras in the app for each plan.

    • She Reads Truth

      Hi Jessica!

Thanks for your feedback! The interactive questions are a new and unique feature specific to this book, so we’re grateful to hear your ideas! We love having you in our community!

Love being here. I often use your devotional a with my Teen Challenge lovelies. I’m excited to see your devotional a grow and look forward to seeing what the app offers in the months and weeks to come. I just switched to the iPad pro was concerned how it would look on it. It was amazing!

That’s a great idea! I splurge on books whenever possible, but there are times when it’s just not possible.

  • I love that

  • Do you do student discounts

    • She Reads Truth

Hi Clare! We don’t have a specific discount for student, but we sure do love giving discounts! The best way to find out about our current promos is by following us on Instagram and Facebook!

  • Thank you so much for the love you share in bringing His Word alive for us all! I have truly been blessed by each of your studies and have great joy in sharing the beauty of the books and artwork with those around me. Understanding that sometimes there’s a reason to change things up a bit, I do wonder if the photos in the Resurrection book are necessary. Maybe it’s me, but they seem to be a bit more distracting as they look more focused on a person (as in a catalogue) than on Jesus. Mind you, I’m only looking at the preview and not the actual book. But based in the preview, I’ll pass on the book this time. Just a personal preference. I’m still looking forward to going through the study online and will purchase the app version. Again, thank you for the love you show! Have a blessed day!

I agree. I’m looking to purchase my first study and pictures of people, focusing on the individual is kind of off putting. It’s making me think twice about this one. I’d much prefer artwork, pictures of things other than people…the cover makes it look like someone’s photobook of their instagram account.

      • MJ Good

I bought the book and already have it. The pictures are pretty, but at first glance seem out of place with the study. Maybe once we are into it, they will make more sense. I do LOVE the new feature of the questions. I have been reading and studying the Bible since I was a young girl and don’t really need them, BUT I know they are very helpful for a lot of younger Christians who are learning to reflect on the Word. I’m really happy with it overall.

      • Christa

I agree as well. In no way am I saying it’s not beautiful. Because it’s stunning. But I really like the simplicity and artwork that are more representative earlier work. I find the photos a slight distraction (ironic since I take pictures) and perhaps they make the cost higher. I’ve always appreciated just the artwork so much. We appreciate you

  • Where do you find Open Your Bible? I didn’t see it in the shop?

    • Alexis

Oh please do say yes! I just finished Open Your Bible and the questions were sooooo helpful!

As well, what comes after The Ressurrected Life?

    • She Reads Truth

Hi MJ! Great question! The questions are a new and unique feature to The Resurrected Life book specifically, but we’re glad you love them and will absolutely keep that in mind!
