Weekly Truth

Today's Text: Ephesians 2:10

We believe memorizing scripture is one of the best ways to carry the Word of our God with us wherever we go—to have God-breathed truth, instruction and reproof in our hearts and minds as we live unto Him each day.

This week we’ve chosen a reminder of our unique purpose as daughters of Christ.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.”
- Ephesians 2:10, NLT

Write this verse down—copy it twenty time if that helps! Post it on your mirror or at your desk, in your car or on the fridge—anywhere you’ll see it often. Save the image below as your phone’s lock screen so you can read these words of truth throughout the day.

We want to be a community that is intentional about scripture memorization. Will you join us?

  • Day one! This is amazing to connect!

  • I like this very much. I have a hard time remembering the word.

  • I am from Colombia! This is awesome i love this app we can share with everyone the word

  • Kelsi Jiggetts

Awesome ! I’m new to this but I’m already liking it

  • I saw your comment regarding the word poema. We also talked about that in church yesterday. Such a lovely description of how much He loves us!

  • The word “poema” is translated into “masterpiece” in English. I am God’s poem, his sculpture, his painting… His masterpiece! He is proud of me, like a parent showing their child’s school photo to everyone they meet.

  • Wow. He made us anew – a masterpiece for Him. Thank you for the beautiful reminder!

  • This version of the verse is actually NLT. Love this wording!

  • Anna Buchanan

So many things stick out to me in this verse: we are masterpieces, made anew, for good things, that were planned long ago. The foundation is grace. The starting point is grace. It begins at grace that made us, changed us, ordained us and compels us.

  • Wow. This was the center of our sermon today <3

    • Vanessa

Same! God is speaking to you! Do you really believe you are His masterpiece? God adores you!

  • This idea keeps popping up everywhere .. At church, in my daily devotionals .. Lord, show me the good works I am to do in your name. Open my eyes to see what you see and make me sensitive to your prompting so that you can lead me as I seek you.

  • Beth Warner

Lord, lead me and show me the good works you will have me do. Enjoy you’re Sunday ladies.
