Women in the Bible IV: Day

Weekly truth + lockscreen

Today's Text: Psalm 16:2

Today, as a body of women, let’s meditate on and memorize Psalm 16:2:

“I say to the Lord, ‘You are my Lord; Apart from you I have no good thing.’”

Please feel free to download this image to your phone or iPad and set it as your lockscreen image to serve as a reminder of this verse for the next two weeks.

New to She Reads Truth but I am excited to be here. I have seen the badges floating around blogland for sometime now but have been slow to act. The timing is no accident that I have decided to act. I can't wait for what God has in store.

  • Welcome Dawn :) glad you're here !

I have recently “rediscovered” this site and I am so blessed by God’s timing in it. What a beautiful place to come and soak in truth each day. As I get ready to walk into a challenging two weeks, it is no accident the Lord has given me this verse to hold tightly to. THANK YOU for sharing it.

Every Sunday when we study the Weekly Truth, I always look at the given verse in many translations. Today I'm sticking with NCV:
I said to The Lord, "You are my Lord. Every good thing I have comes from you."

At this point, am I the only one who hears The Afters singing "Every Good Thing" in her head?! Here's a link to enjoy: http://youtu.be/FY2ycrpbOlw
Play it loud and Worship The Lord this morning!!

Don't forget to come by the blog and lift His name with your praises tomorrow!! I look forward to seeing you there! http://www.walkhumblywithgod.wordpress.com
